WELCOME TO THE FIG

OUR FACILITY

The Fig is an art center located in the community of Okotoks, Alberta, with a variety of creative offerings including ceramics, painting, photography, and more.

We provide three core experiences:

1. Workshops and Classes - we strive to meet you at your skill level to make the experience comfortable and fun.

2. Memberships - Expand your skills on your time, with scheduled workspace bookings. Work on your creative practice, hobby or commercial art.

3. Gallery - Celebrate local art and artists, with rotating exhibits throughout the year.

ArtRoom

The ArtRoom is a flexible art studio, designed to host fine arts and craft based workshops.

This space can be set up for small, medium and large workshops. Hosting painting, print making, fiber arts, mosaic, stain glass, and more.

Member Workshop

As a member, we have dedicated, bookable space. Equipment is available to support your needs: tables, easels, stools, etc. However you like to work, we will try and accommodate your practice.

Member workshop space is bookable for 3.5hrs at a time, in scheduled time slots.

This collaborative environment is tailored for Artists looking to book groups or for longer working sessions. Also located in the Loft:

The Gallery

The Gallery celebrates local artists from around the Foothills region.

There will be rotating 6 to 8 week exhibits.

We also want to celebrate our students and members. Quarterly there will be Stundent & Member ONLY shows!

Ceramics Studio

In the Ceramics Studio we offer multiweek classes and single day workshops. From introduction to advancing skills. Our fully equipt studio will allow you to learn and grow your pottery practice.
