Build confidence in acrylic painting in this focused, beginner-friendly class for adults. Guided by experienced artist Jacqueline Breault-Spiess, you’ll create a classic rustic farmhouse chicken—a subject rooted in both traditional and contemporary art. A great piece that can be displayed in your kitchen, greenhouse or den. Image references will be provided, but if you have a ‘favorite’ chicken in your life please bring their picture along. This session introduces essential techniques including composition, color mixing, and brushwork. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to develop form, texture, and personality while interpreting the subject in your own artistic style. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their fundamentals in a relaxed, creative setting. Included in this session: all tools, materials and equipment What you will go home with: a 12”x12” painting
