Hand-built Fairy Houses with Connie Pike

Service Description

Connie is taking her hand-building class a step further with these beautifully textured fairy houses. Follow her method, in this step by step workshop: roll out a slab of clay approximately 1/4” thick, cut out the whimsical design, texture or carve it to create an interesting design, and piece it together. At the end of the day you pick a glaze, leave it with us; we will fire it in the kiln and let you know when to come pick it up. It might sound simple, but we promise there will be a little bit of a challenge, you will have fun and when you return for your next workshop, you might be inspired to build a fairy apartment building (and trust us, you will return). Connie love’s when students enjoy the challenge of making hand built items and she loves getting to know students when they come back to improve and learn new techniques.
